State Use Work Centers
LSU encourages the use of services and products provided by Louisiana's State Use Program. This special purchasing program, established in statute, is exempt from the bid process and provides a means of employment to persons with disabilities.
Over 80 Work Centers in over 55 cities across Louisiana are ready to provide services and/or products through the State Use Program. Each center must meet high quality guidelines established by State Use in order to be certified to sell.
How to use the Work Centers
Employment Development Services, Inc. (EDS)

EDS, while it does not perform the work itself, is the sole negotiator with state use customers and will allocate the work to the workshops. EDS monitors performance on all contracts to ensure your satisfaction.
Shredder services are available to all campus departments for use as needed. To schedule services contact the performing work center specified in the attached letter.
