Kaitlin Gravois is an Instructor of Marketing at Louisiana State University whose teaching and research focus on professional selling, sales technology, artificial intelligence, and marketing analytics. Her research examines how emerging technologies are changing the sales profession, with particular emphasis on the use of artificial intelligence in sales prospecting, salesperson decision-making, and sales performance.
Prior to entering academia, Kaitlin gained extensive industry experience, including eight years in business-to-business sales most of which were spent in healthcare sales. Her professional background informs both her research and her approach to teaching, allowing her to connect academic theory with the practical challenges faced by salespeople and organizations.
Kaitlin has taught courses in professional selling, sales leadership, negotiation, principles of marketing, and marketing analytics at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She places a strong emphasis on experiential learning and the thoughtful integration of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies into the classroom. Her teaching incorporates role-play, sales simulations, data analysis, case discussions, and other applied learning experiences designed to prepare students for contemporary business environments.
Beyond the classroom, Kaitlin has been actively involved in collegiate sales education through sales competitions, student coaching, industry partnerships, and professional development initiatives. She has also developed and delivered sales training for students, business professionals, and executive audiences. Her broader academic interests center on understanding how technology, salesperson behavior, and organizational practices intersect to shape effective selling in an increasingly digital marketplace.
