LSU Professional Sales Institute Named Full Member of the University Sales Center Alliance
January 05, 2022
LSU’s Professional Sales Institute (PSI) was recently elevated to full membership status in the University Sales Center Alliance (USCA). PSI has officially met the rigorous requirements of full membership in the community of sales educators who are dedicated to advancing the sales profession through teaching, research, and outreach. Out of the 70 schools that are members of USCA, only 37 have reached full membership status.
“By being recognized as a full member of the University Sales Center Alliance, the LSU Professional Sales Institute is now among the top sales education and research institutions both nationally and internationally. This designation is the cumulation of over seven years of hard work, due diligence, and exceptional leadership from the E. J. Ourso College of Business. Our faculty, students, staff, corporate supporters, and alumni deserve all the credit for this tremendous step in our mission in creating the next generation of sales leaders. The best is yet to come,” said LSU Professional Sales Institute Director Greg Accardo.
Full members of the USCA are actively involved in fulfilling the organization's mission. Members help advance the selling profession by setting and monitoring sales program standards, sharing best practices, enhancing sales curricula, and preparing students for careers in sales. All universities interested in joining the alliance must first be an associate member for at least 12 months in good standing and meet all requirements for associate membership even if the university meets the criteria for full membership status. In addition, associate membership serves as a mentoring period during which full members may assist a university working towards full membership.
