Biography
Dr. Ashley Hall is an Instructor in the School of Leadership and Human Resource Development. She has a BBA in General Business with a concentration in corporate communication and a minor in international studies and an MBA from Stephen F. Austin State University. In 2016, she earned her PhD in Human Resource Development with an emphasis in Organizational Development and Change from The University of Texas – Tyler. Her dissertation investigated the relationship between managerial communication and employee job satisfaction during times of organizational change.
Dr. Hall has taught a variety of courses including human resources, human resource development, change management, business communication, organizational development, and business technology classes. She has over a decade of higher education teaching experience, including both face-to-face and online courses, and regularly teaches and develops courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Through her teaching, training, research, and consulting, Ashley aims to help organizations effectively and efficiently solve the complex problems they are facing today. She has published or presented over 70 articles and presentations on topics such as managerial competencies, human resources, managerial communication, online learning, and business pedagogy. In addition to giving presentations across the United States, she has also presented at academic conferences in South Africa and Italy.
