Biography

Dr. Park received her PhD from the University of Minnesota in Human Resource Development (HRD). Her research interests concern organizational behavior, learning and performance in the workplace, leadership, and research trends in HRD and related fields. Her teaching focuses on the fields of instructional design, performance analysis, project management, and research methods.

Prior to her appointment at Louisiana State University, Dr. Park served as a post-doctoral research fellow at Indiana University, Bloomington. She has received more than 20 research awards, including the Outstanding HRD Scholar Award (2026) from the Academy of Human Resource Development (AHRD) and the LSU Rainmaker Award (2023).

Originally from Korea, Dr. Park has spent the last 10 years working with clients in government, non-profit organizations, schools, and companies. As a project manager and team leader, Dr. Park has extensive experience in planning, designing, and implementing a wide range of educational programs in both face-to-face and online environments.
