Research Interests
My program of research is focused on understanding the etiology, course, and comorbidity of externalizing psychopathology in childhood, with a particular interest in psychophysiological and dispositional risk factors.Through my research I hope to:
- Identify risk factors and/or markers of externalizing behavior, as early in development as possible.
- Understand the mechanisms underlying shared etiology and continuity between early childhood symptoms and later psychopathology.
- Inform the development of individualized approaches to the treatment of children exhibiting disruptive behaviors.
