Biography

Jeff Gauger worked for 36 years as a news reporter, editor and publisher, including stints as the top editor of publications in Ohio, North Carolina and Louisiana, and for five years owned two weekly newspapers in his home state of Washington. He holds a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Puget Sound and a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. His professional interests have focused on writing, editing, coaching and newsroom leadership.
