Reilly Center Advocate - Sarah Procopio

We at the Reilly Center want to extend the warmest of congratulations to the Manship School's very own Sarah Procopio! Last week Sarah was named a 2020 Truman Scholar representing the state of Louisiana! 

We are proud to call Sarah a Reilly Center Student Advocate. She was the visionary behind our 2018 Re-envisioning Louisiana event, a day-long forum addressing public policy issues important to young adults. Subsequently, Sarah founded the LA Youth Platform, a non-partisan coalition of young adult leaders from across the state who advocate with candidates and elected officials on issues important to Generation Z including education, the environment, economic development, criminal justice, and quality of life. 

The Reilly Center advises the platform and provides resources supporting leadership development for members and its mission of improving Louisiana for the next generation. Once again, congratulations Sarah! We're excited to see what your bright future has in store for you!
