lf you are having difficulty with a person, office, or department at LSU on the basis of your disability,dedicated resources and processes are available. The ADA Coordinator can provide information, assistance, and referrals to individuals who wish to raise a complaint or have concerns related to accessibility and accommodations, discrimination due to a disability, and related concerns.

Email accessibility@lsu.edu including the nature, location, others involved with, pictures (if relevant) and additional information to assist staff in locating the barrier. All contacts received are reviewed for needed remedy and processed accordingly. If additional information is needed, staff may request such through the reporter.

LSU's Office of Civil Rights & Title IX is responsible for receiving and investigating complaints of discrimination on all protected statuses, as stated in the LSU’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Discrimination is defined as the exclusion, limitation or denial of benefits of the services, programs or activities of a public entity based on disability.
External Grievance Options
- The Office for Civil Rights (OCR) in the U.S. Department of Education is responsible for enforcing federal civil rights laws that prohibit discrimination in programs and activities that receive federal financial assistance from the Department of Education.
