Biography
Chantel holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Louisiana State University, a Certificate of Paralegal Studies from Louisiana State University, a Master of Arts in Applied Sociology from the University of Central Florida, and a PhD in Sociology from Louisiana State University. Prior to her current appointment at Louisiana State University as a Senior Instructor, she was an adjunct instructor for River Parishes Community College and taught a variety of criminal justice courses there including dual enrollment for the local high school. She joined the faculty of Louisiana State University in 2016 as an Instructor of Sociology. Currently, she teaches courses for students interested in the criminology concentration within sociology. Her courses include Introduction to Crime Studies, Sociology of Criminal Justice, Rural Crime, and Criminology. In addition, she is an instructor for LSU Online and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at LSU.
