Thank You Ruth!
July 15, 2022
After 20 years of dedicated service to LSU and the College of Music & Dramatic Arts, Ruth Alise, long a fixture of the Dean's Office and the School of Music front office, is celebrating her well-earned retirement.
Alise joined the College under Dean Ron Ross in 2002 after a successful career at the Tiger Athletic Foundation. She served as administrative assistant to no less than five deans and one director of the School of Music, and was the friendly face (or voice on the phone) greeting thousands of students, parents, and patrons who interact with our College each year.
Over her two decades here, Alise worked tirelessly to ensure that the College achieved high standards in service, and she was an unwavering champion of the work of faculty, staff, and students. In retirement, she leaves memories of a strong example set, and a high standard to be pursued.
Thank you Ruth, and enjoy your retirement!
